What LEO Web Protect actually is
Pricing

Where LEO Web Protect is strong
Cheap for what it covers: $99.99 a year for removal from 500+ websites with monthly monitoring reports, run by current and former officers who know which sites put cops at risk. Household members at the same address are a one-time $49.99 each on Full Service, and there is a 48-hour emergency option.
Where it falls short
Full Service includes only one manual hand search a year; more frequent hand searching costs $34.99 or $83.33 a month. It is built for officers and covered officials, the refund on Full Service ends once removal work begins, and there is no dated screenshot proving each removal.

How it works
How does LEO Web Protect work?
LEO Web Protect is a private company founded by retired LAPD officer Kevin Shaw and staffed by active and retired officers. You open an account, your law enforcement status is verified, and the team starts scanning data broker sites for your name, address and phone number. It says it monitors more than 500 websites, including Spokeo, Whitepages, Intelius, BeenVerified, MyLife and LexisNexis.
Its removal method is unusual. Instead of mailing letters, it emails and faxes removal requests straight to executives and contacts it has built relationships with at the data companies, which it says can take a listing down in a few hours at some sites. Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks. When your information reappears, it files again at no extra cost for the life of the account.
Cost
How much does LEO Web Protect cost?
There are three plans. Full Service is $99.99 a year and covers 12 months of automated monitoring, one manual hand search a year, removal from 500+ websites and monthly monitoring reports. Quarterly Premier is $34.99 a month and adds expedited service, a hand search every three months and priority service. Premier is $83.33 a month, about $1,000 a year, with a hand search every month and expedited removals.
A household member who lives at your address and is 15 or older costs $49.99 one time on Full Service, or the same monthly price as your plan on the two Premier tiers. If an address has to come down fast, the emergency removal fee is $49.99 for handling within 48 hours, and that fee is not refundable. The site lists no coupon code, so ask your union or association whether it has a group rate before you pay.
| Plan | One officer, year one | Officer plus spouse, year one | Manual hand searches |

| LEO Web Protect Quarterly Premier | $419.88 ($34.99 x 12) | $839.76 | Every 3 months |
| LEO Web Protect Premier | $999.96 ($83.33 x 12) | $1,999.92 | Every month |

Reviews
LEO Web Protect reviews and what they leave out
Search for LEO Web Protect reviews and you mostly find the company's own testimonials page, a forum thread on calguns.net, LinkedIn and automated scam-checker scores. The site says it has protected more than 25,000 officers and has run for over 15 years, and testimonials from officers describe whole families coming off people-search sites within about a week. Independent testing is thin, so read those numbers as the company's own.
What you can check is in its terms. On Full Service the 30-day money-back guarantee applies only if no removal work has begun, and partial refunds after that depend on work completed. Results come as monthly monitoring reports rather than proof for each listing. And the low price buys one manual search a year; between those, automated monitoring does the work.

LEO Web Protect vs OfficerPrivacy
Both are run by former officers and both target cops, so this is the comparison most officers make. LEO Web Protect costs $99.99 a year for 500+ websites. OfficerPrivacy charges $77.99 to start and then $24.99 a month, roughly $353 in the first year, and focuses on the top 76 people-search and data broker sites, with 21 of them removed within 72 hours.
OfficerPrivacy has two things in its favor: a 60-day money-back guarantee with no conditions, and it files removals as a private citizen so a data broker never learns you are law enforcement. LEO Web Protect is far cheaper over a year and covers more sites. Neither gives you a dated screenshot of each removal, which matters if you need evidence for a department or a protective order.
Which to choose
LEO Web Protect or Deindex, which fits you
Pick LEO Web Protect if you are a sworn officer, judge, prosecutor or public defender, you want the lowest yearly price, and monthly reports are enough. Add your spouse for $49.99. If a threat is active, pay the $49.99 emergency fee for 48-hour handling.
Pick Deindex if the person at risk is not a covered official, if family members live at different addresses, or if you need proof. The scan shows every listing before you pay, we file and recheck each removal for you, and each one comes with a dated before-and-after screenshot and the legal basis we cited. That record holds up when a department, a court or HR asks what was removed and when.
Why people switch
Why people move from LEO Web Protect to Deindex
-
The person at risk is not a sworn officer or covered official, or family members live at other addresses.
-
You need a dated before-and-after screenshot for each removal to hand to a department, a court or HR.
-
You want every listing rechecked monthly or weekly instead of one manual search a year.

Our differentiator
We sell proof and legal standing, not a count.
Every provider in this category, LEO Web Protect included, will tell you how many opt-out requests it sent. Deindex tells you which legal mechanism each request was filed under, GDPR Article 17, CCPA §1798.105, the broker's own opt-out policy, or Google's personal-information removal tool, and attaches a dated before-and-after screenshot to every resolution. That is what you hand a security team or a lawyer, a number on a dashboard is not evidence.
We also tell you what we cannot remove. Court records, news articles, and anything outside legal removal scope stay published, and we say so upfront rather than take your money for a promise we cannot keep. Currently 50+ data brokers and people-search sites are in the catalog.
