Optery Ultimate costs $249 a year, which Optery shows as $20.70 a month, or $24.99 a month if you pay month to month. It is the top of Optery's four tiers and covers one person. For that price Optery sends automated removal requests to 635+ data broker and people-search sites, accepts unlimited custom removal requests that stretch coverage to 950+ sites, assigns a human Privacy Agent, and answers Ultimate customers first by email. Those are the figures on optery.com/pricing in September 2026, and every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The real choice is between Ultimate and Extended, which costs $100 a year less. The extra money buys roughly 75 more automated sites, custom removals for pages that are not on Optery's list, and priority. If nothing about you shows up outside the regular brokers, Extended does the same core job.

How much does Optery Ultimate cost?

Optery Ultimate is $249 billed once a year or $24.99 billed monthly. Twelve monthly payments add up to $299.88, so paying yearly saves about $51, the 17% discount Optery advertises on every tier. Sales tax can be added at checkout depending on your state. Here is where Ultimate sits against the rest of the Optery lineup.

What does Optery Ultimate include?

Ultimate includes everything in Extended plus four additions. First, coverage of 635+ sites for automated removals, the largest list Optery runs. Second, unlimited custom removal requests: you submit the URL of a profile on a site Optery does not cover, and it makes a best-effort removal, which is how the total reaches 950+ sites. Third, priority email support. Fourth, new data brokers are added to Ultimate first, before Optery considers them for Core or Extended.

Both Extended and Ultimate assign a human Privacy Agent to handle special circumstances alongside the automation, and both get removal reports with before-and-after screenshots roughly every quarter. Core is fully automated with no agent. Optery says Ultimate is aimed at executives, public figures, journalists, government officials, doctors, attorneys, high-net-worth individuals, business owners and people dealing with stalking, violence or harassment.

Optery Extended vs Ultimate, which one do you need?

Choose Extended if your exposure is the ordinary kind: Spokeo, Whitepages, BeenVerified and the other big people-search sites showing your address, phone and relatives. At $149 a year, 560+ sites and an assigned agent, it covers what most people need, and it is already more than most competitors reach.

Choose Ultimate if you can name pages that keep appearing and are not on a standard broker list: a niche lookup site, a regional directory, a scraped profile. Custom removals are the only thing in the Optery lineup that works on those, and Ultimate is the only plan that has them. The first scan tells you which situation you are in, and you can upgrade later without losing your history.

Is Optery Ultimate worth it?

Yes, for someone whose home address is a real safety issue. $249 a year is well below what executive privacy firms charge, and it is cheaper than the custom-removal tiers of most rivals once you count the sites covered. For a solo attorney or doctor who already pays for practice tools such as AI software for law firms, it is a small line item that closes the gap between the big brokers and the odd sites that still list them.

It is not worth it if you only want the big people-search sites cleared. Extended covers them for $100 less, and Core covers 380+ sites for $39 if the budget is tight. Optery's own help center recommends Ultimate for people who place an especially high premium on privacy, which is a fair way to read it: an upgrade for specific risk, not a better default. Our longer Optery review goes through how the scans and reports work in practice.

Optery Ultimate vs other premium removal plans

Every major removal service now sells a tier with human help and custom requests. Prices differ a lot, and so does what you get back as proof.

Optery Ultimate for a family

Optery has no flat family price. Each person gets their own plan, and Optery applies a discount that grows as you add members, up to 30% off. Five Ultimate plans list at $1,245 a year, so even at the maximum 30% discount a household pays about $870. That is a lot for five people when most of them only need the big brokers cleared.

A common setup is Ultimate for the one person at real risk and Extended or Core for everyone else. If the whole household needs the same coverage, family data removal plans from DeleteMe, Incogni and Deindex cost $191.88 to $329 a year for four or five people.

When Deindex is the better fit

Optery Ultimate covers more sites than Deindex, and for a single person at $249 it is the better value on reach alone. We would say that to anyone comparing the two. Deindex is built for a different requirement: a record you can hand to someone else. Every request is filed under a named legal basis, CCPA or GDPR where they apply, and each listing gets a dated before-and-after screenshot, with a monthly rescan and refiling when a site relists you.

That matters when a lawyer, an HR team, a corporate security lead or the police will ask what was removed and when. Deindex Personal is $288 a year, Family covers five people for $588, and Executive, at $888 a year, adds custom URL removals for executives and public figures. Frequently asked questions

How much is Optery Ultimate per month?

Optery Ultimate is $20.70 a month when billed yearly, charged as $249 once a year, or $24.99 a month on monthly billing. Over twelve months the monthly option costs $299.88, about $51 more than paying yearly. The price covers one person, and a 30-day money-back guarantee applies to both billing options.

What is the difference between Optery Extended and Ultimate?

Ultimate adds about 75 automated sites (635+ against 560+), unlimited custom removal requests that reach 950+ sites in total, priority email support and first coverage of newly added brokers. Both plans assign a human Privacy Agent and send removal reports roughly every 90 days. Extended costs $149 a year and Ultimate $249.

Does Optery Ultimate include custom removals?

Yes. Ultimate is the only Optery plan with custom removals. You submit the URL of a profile on a site outside Optery's standard list and Optery makes a best-effort attempt to remove it. There is no stated cap on how many you submit, but results are not guaranteed because the site is not officially covered.

Can I get a refund on Optery Ultimate?

Yes. Optery offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its paid plans, including Ultimate, on both monthly and yearly billing. After 30 days, cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current term, so start on monthly billing if you are unsure and switch to yearly once you are happy.

Is there a family version of Optery Ultimate?

Not as a single plan. Each family member needs their own Optery subscription, and Optery discounts the added members, up to 30% off. You can mix tiers, for example Ultimate for one person and Extended or Core for the rest, which keeps a household well under the cost of five Ultimate plans.
