Incogni Protect costs $248.88 a year (shown as $20.74 a month) or $41.48 billed month to month. It is Incogni Unlimited, meaning automated removal from 420+ data brokers plus unlimited custom removals, bundled with identity theft coverage from Coveron, the Nord Security service that used to be called NordProtect. It covers one person and is sold only to U.S. residents.

That makes Protect $69 a year more than Incogni Unlimited on its own ($179.88). Below is what the extra money buys, how it compares with buying Coveron directly, what Incogni's $4,999 Concierge plan adds, and when a different service is the better purchase.

How much does Incogni Protect cost?

Incogni Protect is $248.88 billed once a year, which Incogni presents as $20.74 a month and as 50% off a $497.76 list price. Month to month it is $41.48, so paying monthly for a full year would cost $497.76. Like every Incogni plan it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and it renews automatically until you cancel.

Here is where Protect sits in Incogni's full price list, read from incogni.com/pricing from a U.S. connection on October 7, 2026.

One thing the table makes obvious: Protect is a single-person plan. A couple who both want the identity theft layer needs two Protect plans ($497.76 a year), while Family Unlimited covers five people's removals for $275.88 without any insurance. What does Incogni Protect include?

Incogni Protect includes everything in Incogni Unlimited plus a Coveron identity protection account that Incogni creates for you automatically after purchase. According to Incogni's help center, you get:

  • Automated removal requests to 420+ data brokers and people-search sites, repeated so your records stay down
  • Unlimited custom removal requests, handled by Incogni's privacy specialists, for sites outside the automated list
  • Up to $1 million in identity theft insurance, up to $50,000 for cyber extortion and up to $10,000 for online fraud
  • 24/7 dark web monitoring
  • Credit monitoring from TransUnion and help freezing your credit
  • 24/7 support including live phone support, and the 30-day money-back guarantee

Your insurance coverage starts as soon as you buy. The Coveron side is a separate account with its own welcome email, so expect to set up two logins. If a freeze or a new account alert ever does hit your file, it helps to see what is actually hurting your credit score before you dispute anything.

Is Incogni Protect cheaper than buying Coveron separately?

Not in year one. Coveron's own Full Protection plan is $143.88 for the first year and already lists a personal data removal service among its features, alongside a VPN, antivirus and three-bureau credit monitoring. Coveron's Identity Theft Protection plan, without removal, is $95.88 for the first year. Both are introductory prices: Coveron's terms say renewals are charged at the then-applicable rate, which may be higher.

The insurance limits also differ. Coveron's pricing page lists $2 million in identity theft insurance and $100,000 for cyber extortion on its own plans, while Incogni's description of Protect says up to $1 million and up to $50,000. What Protect gives you that the Coveron route may not is Incogni's unlimited custom removals and live phone support. Coveron's page does not say which Incogni tier comes inside Full Protection, so if custom removals matter, ask Coveron before you buy.

What is Incogni Concierge and is it worth $4,999?

Incogni Concierge is a $4,999-a-year plan for up to five adults, with one dedicated privacy specialist running a manual search every week. It adds residential blurring on Google Maps, a written risk assessment in the first week with a 90-day follow-up, urgent support with up to twice-daily scans during an emergency, support from former law enforcement officers, and the Coveron identity theft coverage, VPN, password manager, antivirus and email aliases. It is U.S. only.

It is worth it if someone in the household faces an active threat, such as a stalker, a public controversy or a security incident, and you want a named person handling everything. If the real problem is home addresses and phone numbers on people-search sites, it is a lot of money for that. Deindex Executive covers five people for $888 a year with weekly rescans and relistings handled within 24 hours, and our data removal for executives and teams page explains when that is enough.

Is Incogni Protect worth it?

Incogni Protect is worth it if you already want Incogni Unlimited and you have no identity theft insurance today, because the extra $69 a year adds credit monitoring and up to $1 million of coverage in one bill. It is not worth it if your bank, employer benefits, homeowners policy or an existing Aura, LifeLock or Coveron plan already insures you, since you would be paying twice for the same protection.

Check what you already have before you upgrade. Many U.S. employers offer identity protection as a benefit, and some homeowners and renters policies include identity theft expense coverage. If you only need the removal half, Incogni Unlimited is the same removal service for less.

Who should buy something else instead?

Protect is built around automated removal plus insurance. It does not give you evidence of each removal. Incogni's terms do not guarantee removals, and its dashboard shows a status per broker rather than a dated record of what came down. That gap matters for three kinds of buyers:

  • People with a safety problem. If you are dealing with a stalker, an abusive ex or threats tied to your job, a court or a police department will ask what was removed and when. A status label does not answer that.
  • Households. Protect covers one person. Your spouse's or parents' listings usually show your address too.
  • Anyone who needs a specific listing gone now. Automated requests run on the brokers' schedule, which can take weeks.

Deindex is the option for those cases. The scan at the top of this page shows which people-search sites list your name, address and phone number before you pay. We file each removal, cite the legal basis in the request, recheck the listing and attach a dated before-and-after screenshot to your report. Deindex Personal is $288 a year, more than Incogni Protect and without insurance, so buy it for the proof, not the price. Deindex Family is $588 a year for five people at any address. Compare the full field in our best data removal service comparison or read the head-to-head Incogni alternative page.

Can I upgrade to Incogni Protect from another plan?

Yes, if you bought Incogni directly. Upgrades run from Profile, then Subscription and billing, then See upgrade options in your Incogni account, and you pay only the difference for the time left on your current plan; at renewal you pay the full price of the new plan. If you got Incogni through a NordVPN, Coveron or Surfshark bundle, Incogni says upgrades are not available yet, and you cancel through that partner's support instead.
